How We Changed And Brightened Up Our Living and Dining Space!

A little change up can go a long way and really brighten up your space! Here’s our change up in our living and dining space!

My husband Glen and I have really been busy bees around the house the last few weeks and getting several projects done! I started off with doing some spring cleaning in the kitchen. Glen put up Wainscoting in the remaining part of our dining room and two walls of our living room.

We moved our big sectional downstairs to make room for our new and much lighter in color furniture.
We bought a new (slightly damaged) kitchen table that was all a dark wood, so Glen painted the legs of the table and stools white to lighten it and get the farmhouse style we like!

Our table is so neat that is folds right down the middle when we don’t need it expanded and it becomes a large console table that the stools fit under… which is needed for space!

Glen also reconfigured a hanging light for a little reading nook I made in a wasted space in our living room. He took a light meant to hardwire and made it for plug in with a switch. He also hung it by a chain link cord.. I love it! It really goes with our farmhouse theme!

Gallery Wall Of Old Windows!

I’m going to add a little more or change up the decorations on the walls with the old windows.
The black ottoman will either get painted or moved downstairs.
I’d prefer a different style of farmhouse style that Glen wants to make.

PIN IT FOR LATER!

I love to read my Bible in this little nook!

If you like this DIY Farmhouse style living and dining space change up, would you mind sharing with a friend, or pinning it?!?! I would appreciate it SO MUCH!
