Thrift Store find and repurposed for $30!
I bought this solid wood coffee table at a thrift store for only $30!!!
This table, being its size and style would have cost me $500+ if buying it brand new! Great bargain, great find!
My husband and I repurposed it.
We started by using a deglosser, to remove any high gloss from off the table so painting is easier.
We chose not to sand it, the bottom half didn’t need sanded, and since I was doing the technique on the top it covered imperfections so it didn’t need sanded.
Once the table dried from deglossing it we painted it all the entire table with a country white color.
Then I mixed two different shades of grey paint and did a dry brush technique on the top to make it look like weathered wood.
Then I used an antique glaze all over, lastly my husband applied two coats of polyurethane on the top to prevent stains and scratches.
