Decorating is my thing!
I especially love decorating for the holidays, and Easter happens to be one of my all time favorite holidays!
For my Easter decor this year I used mostly what I had on hand, items that came from @hobbylobby @walmart and @dollartree I also used items passed down to me from my mom or gifts given to me by other loved ones.
I love Easter for many reasons.
The colors for one, all the pretty pastels. It also means spring time, greener grass, tulips and daffodils, and the pretty colors of flowers budding on the trees. Hearing and seeing all the birds, and peep frogs.
Now coloring eggs,
I LOVE! It’s something passed down from my mom. She used to color easter eggs with my son throughout the year, a very cherished memory he holds near to his heart about her.
The Resurrection!
Above all of these wonderful things, Easter to me is a celebration of the greatest event that has ever happen in history.
The Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Just like springtime brings new life, it’s so fitting that we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ this time of year and how it symbolizes new life and blessed hope we have in Him!
