Merry Christmas all and Happy New Year! We celebrate the meaning of Christmas 365 days a year! Our Savior was born to give us the gift of eternal life! For that I find it fitting to post these photos of our Christmas memories now.
Joyfulness
This Christmas is special for me, because I cannot remember the last time I was fully in the “Christmas Spirit”. It’s been years! Thankfully the last two years I have been!
The difference I believe was my outlook on it. I really just allowing myself to enjoy it, yes we are buying presents and doing all the traditional parts of Christmas. But it’s God’s presence and gift of His son Jesus that I celebrated in my heart!
The past several years haven’t been much to celebrate, let alone be joyous about for myself and my family! We all have experienced several losses of those dearest to our hearts! At Christmas time our grief of their loss is magnified.
These last two years, well it is the first time I have felt peace and joy, and felt hope for the future fully in my heart! I look forward to everything about Christmas this year, and in so I wanted it to reflect my heart in our home!
Cherished Memories
My grand babies took part in the decorations, and as we decorated I reflected and took in every part, every memory in the making. As you will see in the photos, much love and expression went into our display of celebrating the birth of our savior!
